Tiwanaku eli Tiahuanaco on muinainen hylätty intiaanikaupunki Boliviassa Titicacajärven rannalla 4000 metrin korkeudessa. Sieltä on löydetty runsaasti kivisiä rakennelmia ja kiviveistoksia, muun muassa kuuluisa Auringonportti. Tiwanaku kukoisti ennen inkoja, ja siitä ei ole säilynyt kirjallisia lähteitä. Tiwanaku oli arkeologien mukaan aikoinaan suuren, laajenemishaluisen valtakunnan keskus.
