John Logie Baird (13. elokuuta 1888 – 14. kesäkuuta 1946) oli skotlantilainen sähköinsinööri. Hän rakensi 1923 ensimmäisen käytännöllisen televisiolaitteen. Vuonna 1929 otettiin hänen mekaaninen järjestelmänsä käyttöön virallisissa koelähetyksissä Lontoossa ja Berliinissä. Mitään hänen teknisistä ratkaisuistaan ei enää käytetä.
