Bayeux

Bayeux on pieni kaupunki ja kunta Ranskassa, Calvadosin departementissa. Bayeux’ssa oli 14 961 asukasta vuoden 1999 väestönlaskennassa. Kunnan pinta-ala on seitsemän neliökilometriä. Se sijaitsee muutamia kilometrejä Englannin kanaalin rannalta. Kaupunki on saanut nimensä aluetta hallinneen kelttiläisheimon mukaan. Toisen maailmansodan aikana se oli ensimmäisiä kaupunkeja, jotka vapautettiin Normandian maihinnousussa.
